I do most of our clothes shopping at Op shops [thrift stores] because the kids grow out of their clothes far too quickly to pay approx $40 per outfit new.
But i am a fatty and i shop there too. Not because i grow out of my clothes too quickly, but because the cost of plus size clothing is getting rediculous! And us big girls hang onto our clothes untill they fall off! I use to buy all my clothes new, but i got sick to death of paying through the nose for good quality clothes, or paying slightly less for clothes i'd only get a season out of, and they wouldn't fit properly where they were supposed to anyway! I practicaly live in plain black tights [It's only my shirts that vary] made out of stretch fabric with an elastic waist. Not too complicated huh? I can rarely find a good quality perfect pair in a new shop.
So here's the blessing... i have a few pairs of pants at a time, and as soon as one pair starts to fall apart, i would worry "Oh no, what am i going to do for pants?" And then faithfully, God will provide me with a pair in an Op shop every time. Isn't that awesome?? It's one of those super nice things he does for me that i really appreciate! :o))
